AFSS Class Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

By submitting payment to American Food Safety School (“AFSS”) for training and certification for one or more programs, you, the customer, acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to this cancellation and rescheduling policy (the “Policy”). The fact that AFSS shall have planned for and incurred expenses in anticipation of your participation in the training and certification program shall serve as adequate consideration for your assent to the Policy.

Participants who have been confirmed for specific training sessions may reschedule (see below) or cancel reservations by sending written notification via email at least ten business days before the date the class is scheduled to start and receive 100% refund.

Individuals who cancel a confirmed enrollment less than ten business days before the class start date are entitled to full class credit that must be used for an AFSS training class within 6 months. Refunds will be offered minus 25% percent of the full tuition paid. Participants who fail to appear for training or provide a qualified replacement as scheduled will still be liable for the full tuition amount, and shall be billed accordingly.

AFSS reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any scheduled training class or replace personnel due to low enrollment or circumstances beyond our control. If a class is rescheduled or cancelled, participants will be given notice by AFSS at least ten business days before the start of the class. Registrants may then enroll in the next available offering of the course, or cancel the registration altogether. In the event of cancellation by AFSS, any payment made for the canceled class will, at the Registrant’s discretion, be applied to later class offerings or refunded. The participant understands and agrees that AFSS shall not, in any way, be held responsible for any costs, including loss of airfare or other transportation costs, hotel expenses or other damages, which the client may suffer in the event that AFSS cancels or reschedules a class.
